Together with our event partners, HealthXL will be hosting an invite only Workshop in Melbourne that will bring together the key clinical, industry and technology opinion leaders to discuss the progress and barriers to the delivery of care outside of our acute hospitals. Check out why we decided to run this series of workshops? and who partnered with us too make this a reality.
The Workshops
We started last summer with our first Hack Aging event in partnership with IBM and Northern Health in Melbourne. The workshops have since become an incredible opportunity for us to bring together the leaders from across the HealthXL community to come together under one roof. We have since ran four workshops in Singapore, San Francisco, Boston and now Melbourne with an expanded mission focused on new care models. We are delighted to announce that the outcomes of these workshops will be presented in Basel Switzerland in early 2017.
The attendees in each location will select one ''Challenge'' to be presented at our Global Gathering in Basel, Switzerland on the 23rd February 2017
Why are we running workshops on New Care Models?
HealthXL together with our community, recognise the challenges, opportunities and limitations within the current models of care. The increasing costs and limited resources in hospital systems around the world are driving the need to reevaluate the methods for delivery of healthcare services to people using digital technology. We started these workshops to connect our global community with the purpose to:
- Prioritise the most pressing barriers to transition care from acute setting to the community.
- Identify the key criteria to evaluate the success of solutions purporting to delivering a new model of care
- Consolidate groups of members, advisors and innovators who are serious about taking action to future-proof access to healthcare for all.
