We are seeking a skilled Head of Events to join our team.
The Role
- Oversee the running of over 100 virtual roundtables/mini-events a year
- Oversee and manage the running of four 100-person private events per year
- Ideation of topics for discussion, sourcing of speakers (key opinion leaders, experts)
- Manage budgets
- Find revenue generation opportunities from events for HealthXL
- Work closely with different key stakeholders within the organization
- Responsible for the recruitment, selection, orientation and training of event team hires
- Stay ahead of the competition and create FOMO - build and implement new innovative event offerings
- Deliver on targets and KPIs to maintain the quality of events on offer
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Ensure client engagement at HealthXL events (both virtual and in person)
- Oversee and manage the events team
What we are looking for
- 5 years+ experience in a similar role
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility, and great energy - ready to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
- Experience working in a fast-paced event environment, managing multiple events at a time
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a remote-first, fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience using design tools Canva, Adobe and experience using Mailjet or other email marketing tools a bonus
- Able to live and work in Ireland
- Knowledge of the health sector desired but not essential
