Why are we launching an AI community?

As AI reshapes the landscape of healthcare and life sciences at an ever-increasing pace, keeping abreast of emerging trends, breakthrough technologies, and innovative applications has become crucial. To help you stay ahead of the curve, we're thrilled to launch our "AI in Healthcare & Life Sciences Community". Think of it as your go-to spot for all things AI, from virtual roundtables to curated content and tailored news.

By 2030, the AI healthcare market is projected to be worth $188 billion – up from just $11 billion in 2021. This remarkable growth can be attributed to AI's transformative role in various healthcare functions, such as drug discovery, design of clinical trials, operational streamlining in healthcare facilities, and improved medical processes. The expanding capabilities of AI models play a significant role, such as the size of large language models escalating exponentially from 94M in 2019 to 530M in 2023.

Yet, the rise of AI isn't without its challenges. Alongside the opportunities come complex ethical dilemmas, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, legal liability, and patient safety. The emerging AI era has been met with various reactions: excitement about its vast potential, cautious wariness of the risks involved, and skepticism around its full-scale integration into the healthcare and life sciences industries.

One thing is certain, patient safety must always be at the forefront and regulatory compliance of these technologies is emerging. For instance, the recent collaboration between the AMA and the federal government to establish regulations for AI's use in healthcare in the US. The question remains, are these measures sufficient to keep up with the rapidly progressing capabilities of AI?

With our AI in Healthcare & Life Sciences Community, we offer a space for these discussions to unfold, for insights to be shared, and for the future of AI in healthcare to be collectively shaped.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
