Topic: History of Digital Health: Learning from our Mistakes to Succeed in 2024

Most if not all healthcare stakeholders have experimented with health technology to better service their customers and patients. Despite technology permeating virtually every facet of our lives, its influence on health and care has been slower than anticipated. The scaling and deployment of digital health technologies have been stymied by long-lasting fragmentations across provider and reimbursement systems. The sluggish economic climate and investment landscape have further accentuated digital health’s woes.

The end customer and buyer strategies are similarly in a state of constant flux. Consequently, very few digital health companies have managed to crack successful business models in this space. With notable companies laying off huge chunks of their staff and former trailblazers going bust, the question begs whether we can learn from our mistakes in digital health.

Can we learn from each other and help our peers avoid costly mishaps? Join our roundtable to explore the challenges, opportunities, and lessons learned from the history of digital health, and discover how we can collectively pave the way for a brighter, healthier future.

Join this meeting to collaboratively shape the next phase of DTx:

  • What are the perpetual challenges facing the digital health industry and its growth?
  • What are the main lessons learned from 2023 and how can these pragmatically inform business strategies of the future?
  • Who are the new buyers in digital health and how can we revitalise this sector?
